1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs the use of Aureum Intelligence LLC's ("Aureum", "we", "us", "our") enterprise AI security platform, services, and related technologies (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use the Platform solely for:
- Legitimate Business Purposes: Conducting your organization's lawful business operations, including data governance, AI security monitoring, and compliance management.
- Authorized Access: Accessing the Platform only through credentials and permissions granted by your organization's administrator.
- Compliance Activities: Utilizing Platform features to meet regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA) applicable to your organization.
- Integration: Integrating the Platform with your existing enterprise systems through approved APIs and connectors.
- Testing and Development: Using sandbox environments for testing, development, and training purposes, where provided.
3. Prohibited Activities
You shall NOT:
3.1 Unauthorized Access and Use
- Access or attempt to access the Platform, accounts, or data without authorization.
- Share login credentials, API keys, or authentication tokens with unauthorized parties.
- Use the Platform for any illegal, fraudulent, or malicious purposes.
- Bypass security measures, encryption, or access controls implemented by Aureum.
3.2 Data Misuse
- Collect, process, or store data in violation of applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
- Use the Platform to process personally identifiable information (PII) without proper consent or legal basis.
- Attempt to extract, reverse engineer, or decompile Aureum's proprietary algorithms, models, or source code.
- Use the Platform to facilitate data breaches, cyberattacks, or other harmful activities.
3.3 Security Violations
- Introduce malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious code into the Platform.
- Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or security assessments without prior written authorization from Aureum's security team (requests may be submitted to security@aureumintelligence.com).
- Attempt to disrupt, disable, or overload the Platform or its infrastructure.
- Interfere with Aureum's monitoring, logging, or security systems.
3.4 Intellectual Property Infringement
- Infringe upon Aureum's or third-party intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, or trade secrets.
- Use the Platform to reproduce, distribute, or modify copyrighted material without authorization.
- Claim ownership of Aureum's proprietary technology, models, or outputs.
3.5 AI-Specific Prohibited Activities
- Attempt prompt injection attacks, jailbreaking, or techniques designed to bypass AI safety controls, content filters, or guardrails.
- Use the Platform's AI capabilities to generate deceptive, synthetic, or fraudulent content, including deepfakes, impersonation, or misleading automated communications.
- Submit adversarial inputs specifically designed to manipulate, corrupt, or degrade AI model behavior or outputs.
- Use the Platform to build competing AI models or to systematically extract model weights, training data, or algorithmic logic.
3.6 Unacceptable Content and Activities
- Use the Platform to generate, store, or transmit hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or illegal content.
- Engage in spamming, phishing, or social engineering activities through the Platform.
- Use the Platform for political campaigning, religious proselytizing, or commercial solicitation unless explicitly permitted.
- Violate any export control laws, sanctions, or trade restrictions (including OFAC, EAR, and ITAR) applicable to your use of the Platform.
4. Security Requirements
Users must adhere to the following security practices:
- Strong Authentication: Use multi-factor authentication (MFA) where available and maintain strong, unique passwords.
- Access Control: Limit access to authorized personnel only and revoke access promptly when roles change.
- Data Protection: Encrypt sensitive data in transit and at rest, following industry best practices.
- Incident Reporting: Immediately report any suspected security incidents, breaches, or unauthorized access to Aureum at security@aureumintelligence.com.
- Compliance: Ensure your use of the Platform complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
5. Compliance Obligations
- Regulatory Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Platform complies with applicable laws, including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and sector-specific regulations.
- Audit Cooperation: Cooperate with Aureum's audits, assessments, or investigations related to your use of the Platform.
- Documentation: Maintain records of your data processing activities, consent mechanisms, and compliance measures as required by law.
- Third-Party Obligations: If you share Platform access with third parties, ensure they comply with this Policy and applicable laws.
6. Monitoring and Enforcement
- Monitoring: Aureum reserves the right to monitor Platform usage to ensure compliance with this Policy, detect security threats, and maintain service integrity.
- Investigation: Aureum may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating access.
- Cooperation: You agree to cooperate fully with any investigation into potential violations of this Policy.
7. Consequences of Violation
Violations of this Policy may result in:
- Immediate Suspension: Temporary or permanent suspension of your access to the Platform.
- Termination: Termination of your account or service agreement with Aureum.
- Legal Action: Pursuit of legal remedies, including damages, injunctions, or criminal prosecution, where applicable.
- Notification: Reporting violations to relevant authorities, regulators, or law enforcement agencies.
7.1 Appeals
If your access is suspended or terminated, you may appeal the decision by emailing compliance@aureumintelligence.com within thirty (30) days. Include your account details and a description of the circumstances. We will review and respond within fifteen (15) business days.
